Samuel Fauvel, PhD. student at STEP team won the prize for best oral communication, awarded by the Energy Division at the trienal congress of the Société Chimique de France (June 2023, Nantes).
Samuel Fauvel studies a new class of solar cells with dynamic optical properties. He synthesized new organic photosensitizers showing photochromic properties and incorporated them into dye-sensitized solar cells. He obtained semi-transparent solar cells able to self-adapt autonomously their light transmission and energy production according to daylight variations.
The three yearly congress of the French Chemical Society gather the French chemistry community as well as international participants, to offer an update on the most promising developments in all field of chemistry.
This scientific meeting welcomed in june 2023 at the Cité des Congrès de Nantes 40 guest speakers 300 oral communications and two poster sessions.
