UV Irradiations (UVC, UVB, UVA, simulated sunlight)

Published on 2 November 2022
The laboratory is equipped with a large variety of UV emitting devices. The lamps vary in terms of emission spectrum that can be UVC (254 nm), UVB (centered at 313 nm) or UVA (maximum at 365 nm). In addition, a COLIPA-certified solar simulator is available. For UVA, the team has access to simple 15 or 30 W tubes but also to a much more powerful 700 W lamp. The irradiation equipment is located in two separate rooms whether photochemical or cellular experiments are performed.
