In collaboration with researchers at the
MEM laboratory we have developed a new generation of fuel cell proton exchange membranes leading to promising performance and durability. The link between functional properties and morphology was established by exploring the nanostructure at all relevant scales, using a combination of direct and reciprocal space techniques (AFM and 3D FIB SEM; SANS and WAXS).
CEA is a French government-funded technological research organisation in four main areas: low-carbon energies, defense and security, information technologies and health technologies. A prominent player in the European Research Area, it is involved in setting up collaborative projects with many partners around the world.
